That’s me; in the dark, with my tripod, wearing my headlamp, in front of my greenhouse. That pretty much sums up who I am. Oh, except my co-pilot Chubs is missing in this picture. So I included this one below…

I had the best childhood I could have ever imagined. I grew up in Northern Wisconsin on a ‘crick’. Played in the woods, swam and fished in that crick, and only came home when my Nanny rang the bell in our yard for lunch and dinner. That’s me with the fish shirt on. So yeah, nature is a big part of me.

Dad liked old stuff. I think that rubbed off on me too. Old buildings, old barns, old signs.

It took me a few decades to understand that my love of nature, old things, and photography was best experienced under the cover of darkness.

But when I did, magic happened.

Let my photography bring the awe, tranquility, and beauty of the night into your home.
